Mark 8:34-38
There is a trap set for us to pursue the less valuable things. As I pursue God I gain all I need and more even though my culture and surroundings suggest that the sacrifice of following God is too high. I want to experience all God has for me so I will pursue Him at the sacrifice of all else to the best of my ability.

I must humbly put my desires and "rights" aside take on the burden my own sacrifice... to follow HIM losing my life only to be saved. because "My Life" is not the right answer But HIS is.
I just read this again, I have to lose my life... put aside me and pursue HIM. taking up the burden of isolation from "the world" and the disdain that goes with it.. and Follow HIM. there is nothing more beneficial for my life than to lose my life.
