Colossians 1
I am struck by Paul's prayer to walk worth of our calling. My prayer for our church is that we would be a church that truly reflects the glory of God. In saying that I am aware that at the simplest level in order for our church to be this reflection I have to individually walk worthy of my calling as do you.

As I read about the prayers Paul and Timothy prayed I want God to help me pray more like they did. The healthy tension Paul and Timothy describe between God working in me and me working makes me call out to God and makes me consider my choices and my intent. May the same power that created the universe work in me to make me like Jesus.
Boy, it felt like 4:07Am but I really posted this at 7:07AM.
We each have to represent the Glory of God in our Walk. then as the whole we will glorify HIM.
Paul expresses it is a struggle and labor to proclaim, admonish, and teach the church. However, he expresses that it pleases God and brings much fruit. This certainly is a task/responsibility we need God's strength and power for. It is most definitely a task worth pursuing!
